Bloomingville Autumn/Winter 2010

This week for my 'shops i love' page I bring you another delightful Danish brand, Bloomingville.

Their new collection is full of touches of lavender, lilac and dusky rose, with handmade crochet jewellery and pillow cases, plush velvets and honeycomb textures. As always there is a romantic twist with vintage hints to the beautiful collection of home decorations, kitchen accessories, furniture and women's fashion accessories.

Rice Autumn/Winter 2010

This week for my 'shops i love' page I bring you the delightful Danish brand, Rice DK.

As always their new collection is full of bright colours and whimsical details, like the hand-crocheted bird atop the tea cosy. The new collection is aptly called "cool and cozy" with the prints are centred around a mix of berries, flowers and peacocks in hues of jade, peacock green, blue, yellow and raspberry. There's lots of plush velvet and toadstools popping up everywhere!

Lisbeth Dahl Autumn/Winter 2010

This week for my 'shops i love' page I bring you the delightful Danish brand, Lisbeth Dahl. This year's Autumn/Winter collection is called "A journey through a Magical Universe" and what a magical journey it is just looking at the catalogue; filled with pretty, shiny, shimmery objects, plush cushions and beautifully engraved patterns.

On my wish list is one of their pretty etched glass lidded cake stands.

Marianne Brandi and Keld Mikkelsen's Copenhagen home

Whist looking into DAY Birger et Mikkelsen for last month's post I came across the most delightful pictures of founder Keld Mikkelsen's home he shares with his wife, designer Marianne Brandi. I just adore the simplicity and glamor in their hallway and all the embroidered cushions and quirky accessories scattered around their home.

Jeanne d'Arc Living

Jeanne d'Arc Living was started by photographer Lonnie and stylist Vivian. They turned their hobby into a career by writing for various Danish and international magazines about decorating in a Nordic Country style. They now produce the very highly sought after magazine Jeanne d'Arc Living.

In May 2007 they started a wholesale company selling the items featured in the magazine. All their products are either their own designs or reproductions of older things.

It is available in the UK from Camel & Yak, and in the US from The Beautiful Life.

A trip to Copenhagen wouldn't be complete without visiting one of the many retailers that stocks Rice DK. I just love the playfulness of all their collections and am hoping to get some of the adorable kitchen items.

Green Gate Spring/Summer 2010

In my week of posts about Copenhagen interior brands, I could not miss out on another of my favorites, Green Gate. I love how bright and happy their new Spring range looks. It's based on the designer's Danish Summer retreat, the seaside town of Skagen.

House Doctor

House Doctor was formed in 1999 by two sisters, Rikke Juhl Jensen and Gitte Juhl Capel, along with their brother, Klaus Juhl Pedersen. The product range is very wide, ranging from kitchen utensils, vases and furniture to an exclusive assortment of interior design accessories. Their online catalogue is a dream to flick through for it is beautifully styled and shot, my favourites being the open shelving in the kitchen and that large glass jar full of ribbons.
