I loved the Pitfield London stand at Tent London. It was an eclectic mix of beautifully creative and curious pieces. Today on 'shops I love' I bring you Pitfield, an interiors and lifestyle emporium based in London with an onsite café and exhibition gallery.

"Attracting the creative and curious, our eclectic emporium stocks only beautiful, unique and attention grabbing homewares. Our interiors and lifestyle shop, café and exhibition gallery presents colour, glamour, glitz and excitement. Discover vintage finds, designer wallpapers and carpets, reworked furniture, inspiring gifts and more. After seeing a small selection of their glorious collection at Tent London it is definitely on my 'must visit' list of places in London. I imagine finding a whole host of treasures to delight and inspire...

I loved Rachel Powell's stand at Tent London, from the etched veneer lamp shades to the funky wallpaper. It was so neat & tidy and wonderfully styled with vintage furniture and wooden flowers! Rachel Powell is a surface pattern designer who designs charming modern prints with a retro twist.

After initially completing a BA Hons in packaging and branding Rachel returned to university years later to study Surface Design at the London College of Communication. Upon graduating in 2011 Rachel was picked to exhibit at the New Designers show (the UK's most important graduate show). After being received so well at the show last year Rachel hasn't looked back and this year she returned to the New Designers show exhibiting in the "one year on" section. Inspired by mid-century design and her country life, Rachel's prints are happy, bold, retro repeats that have an air of Scandinavia about them. Her prints can be found on rolls of wallpaper, tea towels, and etched lampshades.

Sian Elin's work really caught my eye at Tent London; I loved her charming bright geo prints, especially the colourful peacocks that were so quirky and fun.

Sian is a creative surface pattern designer and illustrator from Wales who launched her new range of wallpaper and textiles at Tent London after working as a children’s book designer for Penguin and Oxford University Press for five years. Sian started her own surface pattern design business called Sian Elin at the end of 2011. Sian is fascinated by the built environment and that is reflected in her bold hand-drawn colourful prints and illustrations.

"Sian Elin employs British manufacturers and suppliers and is keen to create a sustainable business in the UK."

When I came across Laura Felicity's work at Tent London my heart skipped a beat. Her delicate wallpaper print, entitled "dotty bird", adorned in bird cages, birds, dots and machine embroidery was so precious I had to stop and find out more...

"Laura Felicty is a London based Designer-Maker whose hand drawn patterns and developed skills in Silk Screen Printing create her luxury Handmade Wallpapers and Soft Interior Homeware."

Laura graduated from The University of Hertfordshire in June 2009 and interned for well renowned designers Catherine Hammerton and Selina Rose before starting her own business in April 2010. Her company of the same name designs and creates the most delightful bespoke and retail interior pieces. Laura's graceful work combines layers of prints in a fresh unique way, all in a pared down shabby chic colour palette. Laura sources all her product materials within Britain and her hand drawn hand crafted collection is silk screen printed with the UK.

You can buy all of Laura's pretty interior treasures, including 6 metre rolls of wallpaper, art prints, hand embroidery finished cushions, lampshades, lavender bags, cards, lace embedded coasters at her online boutique, Laura Felicity. "Tent London is one of the largest design trade shows taking place during the London Design Festival each September. Now in its sixth year at the Old Truman Brewery, Tent London presents over 200 international exhibitors, showing the very latest in contemporary interior products - furniture, lighting, ceramics, textiles, materials and accessories."

Tent London was my favourite of all the shows; there was just stand after stand of loveliness, from chinky knitted furniture hand stitched butterfly ceramics. The prettiest of prints and the quirkiest of accessories. More on that later...

Suitably inspired by all the loveliness I saw at The London Design Festival I am now getting ready for Autumn. While I show you all my favourite inspiration on Torie Jayne over the next few days I will be getting super organized and baking some sweet treats.

Have a sweet day!
