Love Lane Vintage's stand at Selina Lake's fair and launch of Pretty Pastel Style was beautifully styled and full of gorgeous treasures.

"Love Lane Vintage was started in 2007 by Lucy Haywood, the business started life as a vintage china and prop hire business and grew over a few years into offering styling to compliment the hire services. Having collected antiques and old & beautiful things for years it felt like the perfect time to open our first shop.... The Love Lane shop was opened above a friends shop and quickly moved into its own premises, here we sold beautiful old pieces of furniture, antique dresses and piles of vintage china, after having my second baby I decided to close the shop and sell from an old barn in Sussex. Love Lane Vintage launched their first fair 4 years ago called Village Vintage and then a monthly event the Sussex Countey Brocante. This is a great way to bring together like minded ladies who need a beautiful space to sell everymonth. We use the fair as our pop up shop to sell our range of hand made linen dresses & smocks alongside our lovingly sourced antiques and furniture. I teamed up with my sister in 2012 and we now offer beautiful country flowers alongside our business.

Anna Wiscombe

I loved Anna Wiscombe's adorable decorative wooden treasures at Selina Lake's Pretty Pastel Fair and book Launch event. I especially was drawn to the cute "Little bird" handcrafted oak wall hanging with little carved markings in a lovely colour combination of mint and peach, as seen in the photo above.

"Anna Wiscombe, originally from the countryside of Dorset, now lives and works in London but still draws her inspiration from the natural environment that surrounded her while growing up!
Using birds, animals and leaves in her designs, she produces a collection of decorative and functional wooden products that are full of intricate details and have their own special character.

Her love of nature and the shapes found within it are given a contemporary edge by using bright colours and stylised forms whilst always complimenting the natural beauty of the wood.
All of Anna’s work is lovingly handmade, by her, from start to finish. Whilst pieces are replicated, no two will ever be the same, making each one an individual character for you to enjoy!"

Peach Blossom

A few weeks back I went to the fabulous book launch and fair of Selina Lake's new book Pretty Pastel Style. After a very busy hectic few weeks I finally have been able to sit down and enjoy both Selina's book and looking at all the lovely stall holders that featured at the event. So over the next few days I will be sharing with you my favourite finds at the fair and of course reviewing Pretty Pastel Style.

First up is Peach Blossom, who love pretty parties!
They had a desire to find pretty and stylish party decorations and accessories, so they began hunting around for products that would add sparkle to special occasions. Well they succeeded and have filled their shop with creative and stylish products that will inspire you for your next celebration and there is free delivery on all orders delivered in the UK.

I of course was loving the paper tissue balls, striped straws and the individual cupcake stands are adorable...









Now I am looking forward to Selina Lake's Handmade and Vintage Summer Fete on Saturday 29th June....
